Home to our grandparents, Manchester has alway had a special place in our hearts. Spending most school holidays and long weekends here as children, we enjoyed many happy times out and about locally in Altrincham. With so many fond memories of this beautiful market town and its fantastic community, we felt it was the perfect spot to set up our new venture...

Ten years in the dreaming, GINKGO has been a labour of love for us and is the culmination of many years of planning and brainstorming.

We founded GINKGO with the mission of bringing the incredible benefits of herbs and natural medicine into more people's lives. Combining traditional herbal knowledge with the latest clinical research on plant based medicine, GINKGO aims to bring the ancient wisdom of natural healing to a contemporary audience, connecting people with the power of plants.
Our different backgrounds and skill-sets came in handy when combined. Importantly, we shared the same vision for the business - we wanted to create a health store that helped people to live happier, healthier lives, but also a business that was ethical in its practices and run in a sustainable way to protect our beautiful planet.
